Panic Devices for Egress Control Systems
We supply 4 panic device styles for egress control systems. With their slender presence, these narrow 1 ¼” L-shaped interior push pads accent fire exit doors instead of consuming them. Our panic devices accept ¼” to 1 ¼” glass thicknesses. Sold in top and floor latching options, they satisfy many all glass, full framed and aluminum egress control system specs.
Tested Up to 2.0 Million Cycles!
Our crash bars have been tested up to 2.0 million cycles in accordance with American National Standards for Exit Devices, ANSI (American National Standards Institute), BHMA (Builders Hardware Manufactures Association, Inc.), A156.3-2008 (Grade 1) and Underwriters Laboratories Standard for Safety Panic Hardware (UL305).

Exterior Panic Handles for Egress Control Systems:

Otherwise known as dummy handles, they’re constructed with the same 1 ¼” diameter tubing as our interior push pads. Rendered in A-Y industry standard styles, our hottest sellers are the A, D, F and FS style handles. Regardless of which you buy, they all look terrific on glass door panic systems as well as full framed and aluminum evacuation doors.
Our exterior panic handles meet numerous egress control system requirements. Fitting diverse glass thicknesses, they can be used on multiple doors, and generated in round and square profiles, they harmonize with our emergency exit devices beautifully. Furnished in a broad scope of architectural finishes, you can bid exterior panic handles to match your egress control systems.
A Style Exterior Panic Handle:
A simple horizontal bar that coordinates with our interior panic device’s horizontal crash bar.
D Style Exterior Panic Handle:
An exact match to our interior push pad, this exterior handle creates a mirror image on the outside of egress control system doors.
F Style Exterior Panic Handle:
A full-height tubular bar that runs in-line with our interior panic device’s vertical rod. Crafted for all glass doors up to 10 ft. tall, it adds rigidity, reduces glass deflection and increases door strength. Note: This design does not comply with A.D.A. regulations. Because this handle latches at the bottom of the door, it won’t accommodate wheelchair access.
FS Style Exterior Panic Handle:
An exact replica of the F style, this handle is held 10” from the bottom of the door to accommodate wheelchair access and satisfy A.D.A. regulations. This handle and the F style can be used on all glass as well as full framed and aluminum egress control system doors.
